Spilling Over, a collection of short stories, will be published later this year.

“The strangers on these pages form relationships, often very intense and often very fleeting. Together and in an indirect and subtle way, they try to deal with the wounds and vulnerabilities that are deep and character defining, but not always visible to the outside world. In all these instances there is a love involved that seems misplaced, but is inevitable. Because it’s often difficult to keep the different kinds of love we feel from spilling over into each other’s territories. But then, is it really necessary to?

Written in a distinctive, understated style filled with quirky observations, these stories are delicate and highly atmospheric. Powerful and honest, recognisable yet often surprising, they  have a timeless and airy quality. They recognise that life is hard. But when all is said and done, what remains is a sense of beauty, hope and love.”
